SEGMENT 1: Consists of 24 hours of classroom instruction plus 6, one-hour driving lessons and 4 hours of observation in the vehicle. Students need to be 14 years 8 months on the first day of class to take Segment 1. An important parent meeting is held on the 1st day of class. The parent meeting will start 15 minutes prior to the scheduled class time and will last approximately a half hour. Students need to bring a notebook, pen, and birth certificate.
