SEGMENT 2
Segment 2 of driver education focuses on reviewing defensive driving, collision avoidance, driver error with resulting collisions, and attitudes behind the wheel. Students are asked to bring in an article on the second day of class about a collision they have read about. The purpose is to identify and correlate the driver error causing the collision. Other key topics from Segment 1 are also highlighted in this class. On the last day, a thorough review of the Driving Skills Test Study Guide is discussed to inform and prepare the student for taking the driving skills test.
