Additional Information For Parents

As parents and guardians we need to remember that our teens will be influenced by our driving habits. Driving at a safe speed, practicing defensive driving habits, and keeping a safe following distance are some of the most important ways to avoid being in a collision.  Driving in this manner and teaching our teens to drive in this manner will help avoid collisions. It shows what parents can do to make their teen a safer driver and offers a variety of resources such as instructional and informational videos, the Michigan GDL law, and legislative updates.
